BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.鈥斝闵短视频-Webb University will conclude its Homecoming weekend celebrations with an early-access showing of the first episode of “The Chosen” Season 6 on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in Tucker Student Center. The historical drama is based on the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of those who knew Him. The showing is free and open to the public, and all are invited to gather for this exclusive preview.

鈥溾楾he Chosen鈥 is an exceptionally well-done series, and it is a powerful presentation of the life of Jesus,鈥 noted Vice President and University Chaplain for Christian Life and Service Dr. Josh Parrott. 鈥淭his is an opportunity for so many in our community to come together to have our hearts and minds oriented toward our Savior. We are thankful for the opportunity to share this episode, and all are welcome to attend!鈥

The preview is made possible by Come and See, the nonprofit foundation dedicated to ensuring all seven seasons of “The Chosen” are produced, translated into 600 languages, made globally accessible and offered free to viewers around the world. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the series provides an authentic and intimate look at Jesus鈥 revolutionary life and teachings. What began as a crowd-funded project has grown into a global phenomenon, reaching more than 308 million viewers and attracting more than 35 million social media followers.

Season 6 captures the historic events of Jesus鈥 final day through the lives of those who love Him and those who condemn Him. The new season will begin streaming on Prime Video on Nov. 15. In spring 2027, audiences will experience Jesus鈥 final hours when the crucifixion story is released worldwide as a theatrical film by Amazon MGM Studios.

鈥淭his season will be the most comprehensive deep dive into the story than anything we鈥檝e done,鈥 said Dallas Jenkins, creator and director of “The Chosen.”
