Three of these students will be leaving campus today to quarantine at home. We have no (zero) students in isolation on campus. We have two international students on campus who are in 10-day mandatory quarantine with an additional student arriving today. None of these students are showing any symptoms. We have two commuter/graduate students who are in quarantine at home waiting to be tested or who have been tested and are waiting on their results. One of these students has tested negative; however, due to new CDC guidelines they have been advised to stay in quarantine for 14 days from their contact date. We have no (zero) staff/faculty who are currently in isolation at home. We have seven faculty/staff in quarantine at home waiting to be tested or waiting on their test results. As a reminder to faculty and staff, individuals with actual or potential exposure to COVID-19 should notify their supervisor immediately, and their supervisor will then notify David Wacaster (704.406.3235), Barry Lane (704.406.2266) and Human Resources鈥擲cott White (704.406.4259) or Frances Sizemore (704.406.3502). Commuter or graduate students who have tested positive, or who have been exposed to a positive case, should report the issue to the Director of Safety, Barry Lane. Student Support Supporting our students and families impacted by COVID-19 remains a priority for 秀色短视频-Webb. Since March, the University has distributed $2,121,694 to students including federal aid, emergency funding and NC relief funds. The distribution of the NC funds will continue through the fall. Protect The Bubble The 秀色短视频-Webb community has worked hard and been able to limit COVID-19 cases in the student population and among faculty and staff through the first two weeks back on campus. Great job, Bulldog Nation! But it takes continuous commitment from all of us鈥earing masks as required, keeping social distance, and avoiding larger groups and especially parties. The weekends are challenging. Students are strongly encouraged to 鈥淪tay in the Springs鈥 on the weekends to protect the 鈥渂ubble鈥 we鈥檙e creating. It鈥檚 safer for our campus community and for your friends and family at home. You can stick around campus and find activities here, hang out at the river, enjoy the greenway and keep your friends and family safe at the same time! THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR PART!
